Holiness and grace
As I gaze into the face,
Of a lady, of the one before my eyes.
With God’s blessings on her lips,
As I touch her fingertips
She placed a medal of the Virgin in my hand.
Gift of Peace; love of Jesus lights your way
Humble one; my eyes behold a living saint.
On a train she heard the call
To help the lowly and the small
And so the cross of poverty she bore.
In her footsteps, hundreds more
To love the poorest of the poor;
She vowed to show them mercy in their war.
Gift of Love, now the harvest is so great.
You live on in those who serve in Jesus’ name.
Pray for us, oh little mother, little saint.
