PROBLEM: I have clicked on one of the categories, but nothing happened.
SOLUTION: These MP3 files could take as much as 10 minutes to download to your computer depending on your computer/connection speed. On my Power Mac with cable connection, it takes less then 30 seconds.
Try downloading or reinstalling the free REAL PLAYER.

PROBLEM: Why does it take so long? On other sites I can hear music right away!
SOLUTION: Most web sites use what is called streaming audio. While streaming audio is efficient as far as delivering the music in a timely manner, often you experience annoying skipping and delay while is buffering the segment. Format such as REAL AUDIO have a tendency of lacking in sound quality definition. Because quality is what OMNI 1 is all about, we choose MP3 format. Although it will still not sound as good as "the real thing", it will offer a fair comparison to our sound. It is worth the extra few minutes. While is loading, relax, play a game, enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

PROBLEM: The downloaded file is on my hard drive, but nothing is playing
SOLUTION: Try clicking on the file. If nothing happens check your speakers/software/hardware and try again.

PROBLEM: I was able to play an audio clip, but when I clicked on it to hear it again, I got a message that I needed to download a plug-in update.
SOLUTION: I have found that this problem occurs only with REALPLAYER while using NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR. The problem lays on the fact that the file(s) already resides on your hard drive. When you click again, according to your operating system/software, the computer renames the file in a manner that REALPLAYER cannot understand. For instance, a file called example_clip,mp3 works, but a file called example_clip,mp3-2 will not work. There are two solutions.
1. (Best) Do not click on the same category, you can click on the file it self and listen to it on the spot without having to download it over again.
2. (Slower) Dispose of the file first, then proceed with your selection

PROBLEM: I want to play the demo for my fiancee when I see her next time. Do I have to download the files again after I shut the computer off?
SOLUTION: No. As long as you know where your computer stores the files, you can play them by simply clicking on them. If you cannot locate the files, try do a find: omni1.
